- Summer heat in the desert southwest U.S. can KILL YOU !!!
I don't mean to be overly dramatic.
But too many people just skip over this warning, assuming a hot day in Las Vegas is like a hot day at a California beach. Or a hot, humid day in Miami or New England.
WRONG !!!
It can get so hot and dry in Vegas, you don't even feel yourself sweat. The perspiration evaporates so fast.
If you're the kind of person who doesn't drink much liquid, because you don't like to run to the bathroom all the time, you might be the first to fall over. Literally ... I've seen this kind of vanity cause people to pass out and fall over from dehydration and getting too hot !!!
I can't stress this enough. Take the heat seriously.
Invest a few minutes to thoroughly understand what I'm talking about.
